INF 215cc EFI Engine (PN: IF215FI, IF215FIALT, IF215FITS, IF215FIALTTS)

The INF 215cc EFI Engine is a twin cylinder high-performance, fuel-injected UAV propulsion system designed for Group 3 unmanned aircraft with a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of approximately 90kg/200lbs. Built with components from Desert Aircraft, a trusted U.S. engine manufacturer, this engine delivers reliable performance for defence, commercial, and ISR applications.

The DA215 core engine is one of the newer propulsion systems developed by Desert Aircraft. The INF 215cc engine is a very high torque engine used to propel some pneumatically launched aircraft up to 100kg/220lbs MTOW. With low RPM and high torque, the 215cc engine is a tractor when it comes to higher weight vehicles.

  • Advanced Electronic Ignition – Using INF Ignite twin cylinder ignition provides advanced ignition curves and RPM control as well as a unique safe-start protocol for low RPM starting and transition to full run mode. 
  •  Twin Spark capable – Available in a twin spark (IF215FITS, IF215FIALTTS) variant with dual independent ignition modules for redundancy during complex missions.

Integrated Starter/Alternator (PN: IF215FIALT)

The IF215FIALT model includes a 3-phase starter/alternator system, available in:

  • 6s (24V) or 12s (48V) configurations
  • Remote start capability for autonomous UAV operation
  • In-flight power generation, delivering 200–700W at peak throttle (7000 RPM)
